Reiki Treatment -- In Person

Service Description

Reiki is a transmission of Divine Source energy that supports emotional, physical and spiritual health. As a Reiki practitioner, I serve as an intuitive channel for that energy to facilitate healing; however, it is not mine to direct or command -- the energy itself is Intelligent and will work with you in whatever way serves your highest good. Reiki should not be thought of as a cure for any medical condition, although many recipients do report faster, deeper healing when Reiki is added to a program of conventional Western medicine. Reiki can help support work with non-physical issues such as addiction and recovery, as well. Reiki works with your physical, emotional and subtle energetic bodies to align all of you with your highest good and Divine life purpose. A full Reiki treatment requires 45 to 60 minutes. It is not a massage, although practitioners rest hands lightly on parts of the body that require it, in accordance with the recipient's wishes and comfort level. The recipient remains fully clothed. Most receivers find themselves resting in a meditative state during treatment. You may experience deep relaxation, localized sensations of warmth or coolness, tingling, and possible muscle reactions (such as twitching) that occur as Reiki energy flows through the body. Reiki energy is always helpful and free of side effects. I recommend drinking plenty of water afterward to flush out any toxins that have been released into your system during treatment.
